Run-2 Shift Training Page

  • Dear P1 enthusiasts, dear all, please subscribe for shifts!

  • To take some shifts (which are OTP class 1) send a request to the relevant shift contact (see table below) and register to the training here.

Shift Training

  • Shift training will take two full days, mainly at P1 in room 3162-1-K-01.
  • The first day will be devoted to Central training, ATLAS, LHC, DCS, DAQ, Trigger, DQ. The second day will be focusing more on dedicated insights for each sub-system, activity.
  • People interested in training for more shift desks can do so as Shift Leader, Run Control, Trigger, are taught sequentially. Detectors and DQ shifts are presented in parallel.

There will be 7 ACR (class 1) Shifts (plus SLIMOS) according to the discussions had during LS-1 and summarized at Sibiu. People interested in subscribing the training and booking shifts should contact the names given below:
